Carnegie's biggest fundraiser, Scots' Scholars Pledge Drive is underway! We've added some great new incentives to get the kids excited about raising money. Principal Wurtzer has graciously offered the top fundraisers in each the opportunity to silly string or pie him in the face if we raise $20,000!
It's a BIG GOAL, but the school has big needs and we know we can work together to make Carnegie the best junior high school it can be! Every dollar raised helps goes to the kids. Our big goal this year is to replace the projector system in the MP Room. If you've had to sit through a presentation in that room, you know the TV screens aren't cutting it.
Donate now and help the kids!
Some really great local businesses have partnered with the PTSA to help make our Scots' Scholars Fundraiser a success. We deeply appreciate the support from the community.
Join us in the Library on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm.
Everyone is welcome! Come just to stay in the loop or find out how you can help us make Carnegie the best junior high for our students.
Our Story
Founded on February 21, 1962, Andrew Carnegie Middle School PTSA was established to address a critical and growing need in our school community: There was a need for a parent teacher association Is to positively Impact the lives of all children and families by representing our members and empowering and supporting them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication.
What began as a small, passionate group of volunteers meeting at Andrew Carnegie Middle School PTSA in Orangevale has grown into a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to creating sustainable, long-term change.
Through early initiatives, we realized that temporary fixes were not enough. To truly empower our community, we needed to establish an organized, transparent framework that could consistently provide resources, education, and advocacy to those who need it most. Today, we remain deeply rooted in our founding values, adapting our strategies to meet new challenges while keeping our community at the absolute center of everything we do.
